Our mission is to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency incidents through an using an all hazards approach that prioritizes Prevention, Response, and Recovery.
In Response, our priority is to stabilize emergencies swiftly and efficiently. We activate the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), facilitate immediate protective actions, coordinate with first responders, and maintain regular communication with our community to ensure the safety of lives and property.
In Recovery, we assist affected schools in restoring the learning environment and well-being of those impacted by an event or emergency. This includes securing emergency funding, and conducting after-action reviews to constantly improve our strategies.
